We are the ONLY Nationwide Non-Religious based Domestic Violence Shelter that offers assistance to everyone regardless of their age, race, color, creed, sexual preference, religious beliefs, spiritual practices or alternative lifestyle.
Everyday, Safe Harbor Foundation helps lost souls, misfits, disinherited, disowned, suicidal and other desperate people get their shattered lives back on track, by helping them to avoid life threatening situations from those who would seek to harm them. Whether it be financial, mental or physical abuse, Safe Harbor will be there to help.
Safe Harbor Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit charity’s program is designed around the concept of the “extended family”, which the Apache, Asiatic and European cultures have long been practitioners.
Our staff has been trained to diligently and systematically assist victims of domestic abuse and violence to take the individual step by step thru the actions necessary to vanish from the abuser(s).
Our network of "Safe Harbor Environments" which extend across the US and even into Canada has been in existence for over 25 years and has provided "peace of mind" to over 700 people in the past.
The first step is to assist the individual in rebuilding that portion of life the abuser(s) destroyed. Most importantly, Safe Harbor Foundation will help the individual understand that suicide is not an appropriate answer and that the individual can enjoy life again and know the world can be a wonderful place.
Safe Harbor Foundation will provide the individual accommodations in a "public area",but under Safe Harbors watchful eyes and ears.
The neighborhoods where "Safe Harbor" homes exist are some of the very best in the state where they are located.
The individual can choose to become active in the neighborhood and community, or remain "hidden" for as long as they like.
Some prefer the country life to a city environment so we have created five (5) community size "Safe Harbor" ranchs in small towns across the US.

If the individual already has employment or wishes to seek employment outside of the "Safe Harbor" facility, we will do all we can to assist in maintaining that outside employment while staying at the facility. Efforts include providing secured transportation, assist in gasoline costs for personal vehicle, provide meals and much more.
For those who have no outside employment or wish to work strictly for "Safe Harbor", we can provide vocational training in many areas of expertise. In these friendly and loving ranch environments individuals can learn animal care, appliance repair, auto maintenance, carpentry skills, ceramics, doll making skills, electronics repair, electrician skills, lawn care & landscaping skills, office skills and office management, plumbing, wood working, and much more.

Safe Harbor will not allow "troublesome" individuals, "problem" individuals, free loaders, "skaters" or any other type of individual who does not want to begin a new life in Safe Harbor programs.
Safe Harbor is very thorough about our admittance to these programs. All prospective participants are pre-screened via professional and government intelligence gathering sources.
This includes, but is not limited to NCIC, Mental Health Facilities, Local Police Departments (when available), FBI and DEA agency checks.
As many have found out the hard way, neither myself, my family or any of Safe Harbor’s "Tribal Family" membership will tolerate ANY of these types of individuals attending Safe Harbor programs . This is done to protect the "Tribal Family" membership as a whole.
In other words, if the individual wants to help themselves and work toward rebuilding their life to where the individual was in life before the abuse began, Safe Harbor Foundation will be there every step of the way to help the individual.
